Projekt

COMET aims to provide SMEs in the processing sector with a tool for competence assessment.

Based on national and European qualification standards (EQF), the tool is used to identify the competences of employees – in particular low-qualified, elderly employees.

The model tool is adjusted to the individual conditions and needs of the relevant company. It is to

  • describe the requested competences in a company

  • describe the competences of each individual

  • show the gap and guide the participants towards further vocational training

So the tool provides an immediate and clear overview of the competencies of employees.

Benefits for enterprises:

  • increased transparency of the employees’ strengths and competences

  • increased clarity of how existing competences within the enterprise can be used and further developed

  • strengthening of reflective faculty and dialogue ability of employees

  • more efficient and motivated employees

  • better reputation as employer

That means: Increased competitiveness on the market

COMET is an international project financed by the Programme for Lifelong Learning of the European Union.
